If you wish to host Active Commerce utilizing the new Sitecore 8.2 Azure deployment capabilities, be aware of the following current limitations:
- Due to behavioral differences in the Azure Search implementation of Sitecore.ContentSearch, the built-in product faceting of Active Commerce is not currently supported in Azure.
- In the current Azure Search implementation of Sitecore.ContentSearch, during index rebuild, the index is entirely unavailable. This could create issues with product listings, resolving product URLs and adding products to cart in Active Commerce.
Due to these limitations, at this time we highly recommend utilizing Coveo if you wish to deploy to Azure, or Solr, with its known limitations with Active Commerce.
